New Construction Process
CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY
Recently the Board of Directors has been faced with the unpleasant task of enforcing the Restrictive Covenants against members who have erected structures in violation of the Restrictive Covenants. A few of these incidences have concerned multiple detached garages. The Restrictive Covenant allows for only one (1) detached garage. This is not a new requirement and has always been cited in the Covenants. Please refer to Article VII, Section 1 of the Covenant.
Please remember, before any structure may be commenced, erected or maintained on any lot, the plans must be submitted to the Architectural Control Committee for approval. This is in addition to any permits required by the Township, County or other governmental agencies.
The Board of Directors is charged with enforcing violations which may include removal of the offending structure. This can involve considerable cost and heartache, and can be avoided by having all plans approved beforehand.
